Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated August 17, 2026 · Version 2026-08-17
Cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours before a class and the class goes straight back to your account. If your first Sunroom class isn’t for you, email us within 7 days and we refund it in full. Nothing auto-renews, ever.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is v1.0, effective August 17, 2026, and is part of our Terms of Service (version 2026-08-17). It uses the same defined terms as the Terms: Classes, Credits, Guest Pass and the Studio (Delvir Limited Liability Co., doing business as Sunroom Yoga).
The First Class Promise
Take your first class. If it isn't for you, email us within 7 days and we'll refund it in full — the class or the whole pass. You keep the replay.
Here is exactly how it works:
- It applies once per person, to your first Sunroom class, whichever thing you bought — a single Class or a pass.
- If you bought a pass and took only that first Class, we refund the whole pass.
- If you took more Classes before asking, those are deducted at $24 each and we refund the rest.
- Ask by email to hello@sunroom.yoga within 7 days of that first Class.
- No form, no survey, no “what could we have done better” gate. One sentence is enough.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 3 business days of your email. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
- You keep the Replay of the Class you took. We are not going to claw back an hour you already spent on a mat.
- Once the guarantee is used, your remaining Credits from that purchase are closed out with the refund. Buying again later is fine; the guarantee is not.
Cancelling or rescheduling a Class
- More than 12 hours before your Class: cancel free and the Class returns to your account as a Credit you can spend on any other Class. Or reschedule and your seat simply moves — nothing is spent, nothing is returned.
- Less than 12 hours before, or a no-show: the Class is used. A seat out of 8 was held for you and could not be offered to anyone else. You still get the Replay.
- Booking closes 15 minutes before a Class starts.
- A returned Class is a Credit, not cash. Cancelling puts the Class back in your account; it does not put money back on your card. Cash comes back only in the situations on this page.
- If you cancel a paid drop-in Class in time, we grant you a fresh Class Credit rather than leaving you empty-handed — and if a returned Credit would otherwise expire immediately, we extend it so you have a fair chance to use it.
When we cancel
If we cancel a Class — instructor illness, a technical failure on our end, or anything else — we tell you as soon as we can and you choose: a full Credit for another Class, or your money back for that Class. Refunds go to the original payment method, typically within 3 business days. A Credit issued because we cancelled will not expire before the Credits you already had. If we have to move a Class rather than cancel it, and the new time doesn’t work for you, the same choice applies.
If a Class fills while you are checking out
With 8 seats it can happen. We will not put you in a Class that is full, and we will not quietly keep your money: we issue a Credit good for any other Class and email you to explain — and if you would rather have the money back, reply and we refund it.
Passes and expiry
- The Golden Five — 5 Classes, good for 90 days from purchase.
- The Golden Ten — 10 Classes, good for 120 days from purchase.
- The Founding Circle — Ten Evenings — 10 Classes, good for 180 days from purchase.
Expiry dates are shown on your receipt and on your account page. Unused Credits expire at the end of that window and are not refunded, and Credits are not transferable and have no cash value. Two exceptions: where a law that applies to you says otherwise, that law wins; and if something real got in the way — illness, a death in the family, a hard month — write to us before your Credits expire and we will usually extend them. That is a courtesy we extend on purpose, not a right you have to argue for.
Guest Passes
Guest Passes have no cash value and are never refunded for money. If your guest cancels more than 12 hours ahead, the pass returns to you; if they cancel late or don’t show, the pass is used. Guest Passes expire with the pass they came with.
Things that are not refundable
- A Class you attended, outside The First Class Promise.
- A Class missed because of a problem on your end — your internet, your device, your calendar, the wrong time zone. We send a reminder 2 hours ahead and the Replay is yours either way.
- Credits that have expired, subject to the exceptions above.
- A booking cancelled by us for a serious breach of the Terms — recording a Class, sharing links, or harassing someone.
Before you dispute a charge
Please email us first. Almost anything that would make you file a chargeback, we will simply fix — usually the same day, and faster than a bank can. A chargeback filed without contacting us costs us the payment plus a fee and takes weeks to resolve; we will respond to it with your booking record, your attendance record and your stored consent record, and we may decline further bookings while a dispute is open. If you don’t recognize a charge, it will appear on your statement under a name related to Sunroom Yoga or Delvir Limited Liability Co.. Ask us before you ask your bank: hello@sunroom.yoga.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@sunroom.yoga from the address you booked with. Tell us which Class or pass, and one line about why if you feel like it. That is the whole process. Refunds are issued manually by a person, to your original payment method, typically within 3 business days.
The rest
Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the state where you live. This Policy sits alongside our Terms of Service, our Liability Waiver and our Privacy Policy. If this page and the Terms ever disagree about money, this page wins.
